Huawei Video platform has announced six new series for Ramadan as part of Huawei’s commitment to strengthening its Video-on-Demand (VOD) service in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This rollout has been done in collaboration with the Home plus Network.
The new shows, being offered on an AVOD basis, include Arabic and global content on the Huawei Video streaming service app. The content is free to stream for Huawei and Honor Mobile users.
Huawei Video platform has also announced that there will be even more premium content and new features offered on Huawei Video. Huawei Video Services will also be extended to cover new markets and regions in the coming days.
Commenting on the announcement, Ammar Hares, Co-founder of Todo Media, the main shareholder of Home Plus Network (H+), said: “We are very happy with Huawei Video’s performance, the numbers achieved, and the growth that we see daily is exceeding expectations. We were able to deliver great shows to the platform with our key content partners catering to Ramadan 2020 and taking into consideration all the challenges occurring globally. During all my years of experience, I can say it is a first to see such growth in the charts of a new service, but our strong faith in our strategic partnership with Huawei will pave the way to achieve many milestones. So stay tuned.”
