SIC'S "NAZARÉ" Has Been Licensed TO MBC GROUP

Finalist at NY Festival TV & Film Awards, silver medal winner at World Media Festival and ratings leader since day one, breaking records every day, ‘Nazaré’ is a huge fiction phenomenon, that is now making its way into new territories in MENA.

‘NAZARÉ’ tells the story of a strong beautiful woman who will do anything to save her mother’s life, even if it means to betray the love of her life.


Action takes place in NAZARE, the Portuguese capital of big wave surfing, a small town where surfer Garret McNamara became Guinness World Record holder for the largest wave ever surfed. He has a cameo appearance in the telenovela, playing himself.

While all the Arabic titles will be available to MENA subscribers, some—especially the majority of the latest releases—will also be offered to Netflix’s global members in 190 countries depending on licensing rights.
